I kept my shares in my ira so to remind me to never fool with penny stocks again. I would be bad somewhere down the road that an internet dot com company would use this old empty shell as a method to get on the market. Yea, Right.... Gary

Precisely LT, MTEI can safely be considered a "worthless security" and is subject to the applicable tax ramifications as such.

To anyone interested...

MTEI may be worthless to almost everyone but when I put in a "Sale at Market" order with Etrade yesterday, my MTEI stock did sale. The message I received from Etrade about 10:30 AM was as follows,

"Your day Sell order for XXXXX MTEI at Mkt was executed at 0.0025."

Not much money but this transaction will be used to offset other gains on my 1040 return.
