USSP bidding up this AM (now 2 1/16 x 2 1/4, from 1 11/16 x 1 13/16). Big move yesterday. Company establishing what will essentially be an ESPN for amateur sports. Will also have e-commerce support for sales of new and used sporting goods (essentially an on-line "Play It Again Sports" store). Also note that the company recently called for a special shareholder's meeting (for Jan. 25). One of the items up for vote is to change the company's name to ecom ecom.com, presumably to align the company's name and ticker symbol with the future direction of the company (e-commerce). Gator

Imatron IMAT IMAT may move up tomorrow. It has had good volume this week on yesterday's announced sale to Japan. It also has a favorable article in tomorrow's New England Journal of Medicine which has yet to be picked up by the news wires. NEJM abstract: nejm.org
