Chuck -- just happened to pop in here this morning and saw your partial "stocks for 1999" list, and noticed that TMAR was one of them. I've been long TMAR, and am in at an avg. price of $13.75. What do you see in this stock now? I'd like to find a compelling reason to avg. down, but the performance over the past year has me on the defensive....

Hi Chuck, Ike and thread.

Happy New Year.

Chuck don't short CHKPF I own a few shares <gg> (and the company is going to have a blowout quarter in earnings (over 50 cents and maybe as high as 60, one of the few internet index companies making money).

HYSL is tanking big time (I actually sold Arbor last year b/4 the merger announcement) on rumors (indicated by the CFO a couple of weeks ago, so they are pretty solid rumors) that the quarter is back end loaded. Its starting to attract my attention as a value stock.

Don't ya just luv this "warm" weather.
