Quick comment on US vs. CDN shoppers. We know that online shopping is more active in the states on a per capita basis. We also know that the shopping habits of the countrie's shoppers are different. The Wal mart EDLP ( everyday lowpriced) strategy is struggling to catch on in Canada with Canadians preferring the deep discounts offered in flyers put out by Zeller's, Canadian Tires etc. One would think ( I would anyway) that an online auction and the concept of a great deal or discount might be even more attractive to Canadian Consumers as they begin to embrace the online shopping idea. Just a positive thought on BII as some of my previous posts have been more skeptical. I am following this entire concept very closely and trying to determine if it is a fad or for real.
