Before you were waltzing around the set of FNN, Acampora and Cohen hacking their way into the category of the worst. Cohen was a little girl outside of her league who has simply out sat her opponents. Acampora was a glad handing yes man during the crucible days of the '70s. In every era there is some prognosticator that happens to be right. The press rushes to them because they can create visibility for their medium. It's called, "being right" hysteria. There have been many in this position. In the contemporary era it has been luminaries like Granville, Prechter, Garzarelli, and there is no need to trot out names which no one now knows. Where are they now? I won't mention the stellar performance of these three. You already know it. You are very concerned with who I am. If you really knew, you couldn't comprehend it since it is alien to your orientation in this business. You put a lot of value in useless image. This is the disease of this age and you will suffer for it especially if you follow another collection of hacks like the ones that went before. It is the nature of this business to destroy all those who would create visibility for themselves. As bad as Prechter is, Acampora couldn't shine his shoes. Cohen is trying to fit into polite society, but it is those concessions that will do her in. You have to be a lone wolf to make it and you have to go out of your way to avoid any publicity. Got that? None. One iota will kill you because it will distort your judgement just enough to cause you to make a terrible move. I will tell you that Prechter is the opposite of Acampora with respect to prognostication. Prechter is apparently expecting something like DOW 400. That is certainly harder to believe than Acampora's "rosy" view. If you knew what I am privy to, what I have divined concerning developments in other parts of the world, you might have more sympathy for Prechter's view. That would draw improper attention to me. So I have to leave you with the good times security blanket that often heralds a change in the pervasive sentiment.
