ZOOM

I bought a ZOOM a couple of years ago and had a frustrating time with it. An e-mail to ZOOM was answered the next day with a suggestion which fixed everything and I haven't had any trouble since. Perhaps the response is slow over the holidays? Good luck, PW.

I don't know if this helps with your problem: I had trouble getting my computer to recognize my modem. This was a re-install--I had just tried switching modems between my two computers--so I knew the driver was right and that it could be done. I had to remove the applicable com port and reinstall it, and then the modem installation proceeded just fine.
