Yes, it is difficult to get a market indication on AOL until mid-morning, as Bob said. Sometimes it does the opposite, spikes up early then settles down. Sometimes the dips and rises come mid-day and the daily volatility can be 5-10%. Just get used to it if you are long "-) If you are a trader you can make money, but it is hard to time.
