Well Mike, I have a solution. An '81 2000 Spider. More pep than the 124, all gears but the fourth work fine, starts up fast (in the summer), but be careful in the winter - spins like a top in the rain. Top is torn up so I keep it down all the time, and it's fun to hop in over the door like in those 70's movies. All-in-all, a great way to relive one's younger days.

No reasonable offer will be refused. Trade for a good bottle of wine? OK, a bottle of anything - just take it.

OK, I'll bite. Why? The only thing I can think of is height, but if so, wouldn't you have to leave the sunroof open all the time?
