You're right. There is no such thing as a virtual business, at least not for long. I always tell my investing friends to pick up the phone and call the companies they invest in but it takes a long time to discern if you are hearing BS and pipe dreams.

I just need a little more time and money and I will really be able to do some due diligence, in person.
