seems harder than just pressing the button.


This Aopen board has an optional feature where if you press the case power button less than 4 seconds it puts the system into suspend. I'm not sure yet just what gets suspended. The monitor goes to sleep but I don't know about HDD.
AT first I thought the machine wouldn't turn off.<g>
Before you yell at me....I was only turning off the machine before Spots and zp informed me that I could hot-swap my sole monitor<gg>

What I'd like to powerdown down is these fans.....
I have one extra case fan + the three that came from Supermicro and the noise level is quite disturbing.

Best for last... I switched the jumpers on both drives today w/o a hitch. NT is now on my primary master Quantum (C:) and w98 is on the primary slave IBM (D:)

Next huddle is to gain access to the net for drivers and service pack 4
