Another factor is the huge pile of Blue Chip shares acquired by the HK government during the Market Defending days which are still being kept in custody. They are actually squeezing all liquidity from the market.

Which in turn, dries up the futures/derivatives trading activities....which in turn lowers their stamp duty income....vicious cycle in the making?

If they want the market to really recover, it is in the best interest of all that the government rid of these shares ASAP!!!!
