BB: I've been using vanguard's small cap value index; definitely worth the dca approach. It's a pretty good tracking index, probably better than their rut or small growth indexes. Valuation disparities are amazing, I agree. Just noticed in today's Times, for instance, the difference between Vanguard's S&P Growth Index and their S&P Value Index, YTD: 44% for the former, 15.4% for the latter. Everyone talks about the Internet madness (which, if truth be told, I've profited from myself), but the disparities within the S&P represent their own madness. Yikes! Have a good new year -- whichever way the wind blows. Regards, M2

Hello Bonnie Bear

A little off Topic. Do you or any of the others here
have some good links covering the companies that
compile the Russell 2000 index, or a thread that
specifically deals with it. Thanking you and all
in advance.

Best Regards

WB
