JGoren:

Although not the best comparison, but here goes.

I own an Ericsson LX-788 and it is about as long as a StarTac (when you don't include the length of the antenna in the calculation. The antenna is aobut 1 inch long) and it is a little thicker than a StarTac

Anyways, as you may be aware, it is one of Ericsson's "new" models. 40 Hours of Standby time, 2 Hours of Talk Time, Active Flip and weighs 5.8 oz. Also, it has a Vibrating ring feature and cost me $200.

Now, I am unsure when the Q-1900 and the Q-800 were first commercially for sale, but the specs on the LX-788 are superior.
