EWT was devised for the very long, long and medium term projections.
To figure out the longer waves one must use weekly charts.
When looking at the weekly closing prices 12/94-12/98 one can easily define intermediate 1, the ABC of intermediate 2, all the minors of intermediate 3 and even the 5 minuettes of minor 5 of intermediate 3.
Now on the same chart, the 7/98-8/98 down move could be the whole intermediate 4 and 9-10/98 minor 1 and 2 of intermediate 5 (the wizeguy scenario). That makes the current move 10-12/98 minor 3, and after we correct to SPX 1210 area, we'll have minor 5 to take us to marginally new highs and END GAME.

your thoughts?

Carl,

Back to the wiseguy scenario,
Is this count viable:
9/1 ends intermediate 4
Sep minor/minuette 1
Oct 8th ends minor/minuette 2 (well, the Dow didn't make new low)
End Nov ends minor/minuette 3
12/14 ends minor/minuette 4
Now ends minor 5 roughly equal to minor 1.

Glue anyone?
