RRanney,
Thanks for the Haines info. I used to run across posts on the disk drive stocks thread from guys who swore that selling out of the money covered calls was a sure fire gold mine. I've never messed with options and just barely understand the concept but my natural skepticism said there must be a catch. I visited the covered call thread on SI and learned just enough to know that I didn't know enough to mess with them but did grasp the downside that David learned the hard way. I hope he at least got called out up around $30 and not lower than we are now.

Another thing I learned from my brief excursion into the disk drive stocks was easy come easy go. I think most of the people who had big gains in those stocks held on, as I did, too long and gave back all the gains and more. Some who had all their money in those stocks looked real smart when they were up. One guy, as I recall, was up $340,000 in a few months but I don't think he kept it. Obvious lesson to me: diversify. I sure hope David doesn't learn this lesson the hard way too. His incredible boldness has surely paid off handsomely. It would sure be a shame if he lost it by over playing his hand. He is the reason I have made a lot of money in this stock. I read his posts on the AOL Foolish 8 thread when the stock was about $5.

I owe a large thank you to all the gamers and diligent investors who post on this thread. I don't play video games and my teenage son is too busy working on his hoped for scholarship to Stanford playing real basketball and studying to have time to play video games so I depend upon the feedback of you guys.

Have a great new year everyone!!!

Bob
