I heard an interview with the President of BID.COM a couple of months ago and he was talking about the company's move to Europe. I was wondering why I heard nothing since and then it hit me - I would say they are waiting for the "Euro-Dollar" to kick in Jan. 1, 1999. What a plus for any company doing business in Europe. Everyone dealing with the one currency, no more francs, pounds or marks. NASDAQ DOWN TODAY--I can see some of those high valued Internet Nasdaq stocks, many of them jumping up US$50.00/sh. in one day and US$40.00/sh. the next, coming in for a correction every now and then, but some of the cheaper stocks haven't experienced that and probably won't be dragged down too bad.!!!!
