C4 wouldn'a'worked too well. Enought to budge a golf ball is enough to induce positive disassembly in PVC of any thickness. Use a steel pipe and some black powder, or a judicious dose of one of the faster smokeless numbers. A golf ball is tough enough for this sort of abuse. I remember spending half a day of summer vacation taking one apart. A n'hood kid told me there was uranium in the center. There was a rubber core, and in that was a gross yellow liquid like the stuff from a blister. Eeewwwwgh.
