>>Proof of this profit-taking is today's news from Intel (Nasdaq:INTC - news) . Week-old filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission show that the giant chip maker is selling $18.3 million worth of shares in Inktomi (Nasdaq:INKT - news) and $4 million worth of shares in CNet (Nasdaq:CNWK - news) . The shares may already have been sold, as an Intel filing showed the company sold 21,000 Inktomi shares Dec. 18, according to a Reuters report. Intel was up 1/16 to 122 3/16, while CNet was down more than 5%. It is uncertain whether the losses are related to the news or to the pressure the sector is feeling today.<<
