JK, I've read several places that it shows up as income. Recently Gretchen Morgensen had an article in the New York Times that discussed the pctg of income attributable to selling put warants for MSFT, INTC, IBM, and a few others. For MSFT and INTC, I think it was about 10% of their total income for the most recent quarter.

Jim, The profits go directly to the bottom line, as do all capital gains. You've been reading the wrong tax books. <G>
