If you keep this up, SI is going to get better ratings than Monday Night Football. The over and under on INTC is 120. INQMD 120 calls are bid 5 asked 5 1/4.

RE: Break 120 -- 2

I am longer Intel than I was at the time when I bought (after betting) on 97Q3. I was so depressed that I didn't notice that I had been assigned and ended up in my taxable trading account with an extra 1000 INTC long and 1000 INTC short (at shorted at $10 bucks higher) and no cash. I sweated blood cashing that out. When you've shorted 1000 shares against the box, and the margin meter is running, you have to caracole 100 shares each way. The long was margin for the short, the net cash value was ~$10,000, and I had to cover the shorts on dips, sell the shares on pops, at about 100 shares a go. I managed to cover 500 short (all that was left) on the March earnings warning for a profit of $5000. I made the trade on a projection demo computer at an NEA convention, while the teachers watched -- sucking their teeth while the lecturer explained e-trading. Felt like a fool.
