definitely.....news....will outweigh a short term chart....no question about it...... re: interest rates in regard to a bear market.... I do not know of an instance where central gov intervention on interest rates stopped a bear market......in most cases such active interest rate moves were bear signs if nothing else.... of recent history...Japan is a case in play regarding interest rates.

And.... that's it in a nutshell what you said....the fed moves elevated the market.....while some bears were still asleep thinking they could keep growling short term at least..... probably the biggest bear mistake of all... I agree with you 100+ percent
