...I think this impeachment mess has caused a lot of swing voters to basically look at a candidates stance on abortion and if he is pro-life, lump him in with the RR zealots, as a sort of extremism "litmus test". Yes, the people have every reason to be very, very wary. Remember the postings here from someone who said that things like this have already happened in Texas -- right-wing candidates who appear reasonable during the elections, only to show their true colors after they assume office.
