Guess you're right. Who could have imagined a 1 billion share day several years ago? Hey, what's to stop a 10 billion share day and the delays? More likely the delays will occur at the brokers, busy signals, bottlenecked internet. The only source of information in that case might be CNBC. There's a scary thought!

Not only that, many of us trade online and the servers and i-net links themselves become a bottleneck even if the ticker is keeping up.
