Holey Moley or How to fix a Piano I am glad your recap included the moles. Are you sure that alcohol was not involved. I would like to take a moment to thank all the contributors to one of SI's most enjoyable threads, for me anyway. This may be the only thread where uzi's and gummi bears co-exist. Mail is regularly delivered. Magazine articles are regularly published. Ski conditions are regularly updated. Information on mole infestations is kept up to date and timely. Tactics for digruntling neighbors are tossed up for discussion. There are skateboards and empty lots. Interesting medical discussions take place about "blue urine" Cats and kids form part of the conversation backbone. Don't Ask Rambi : SI's Most Dangerous Thread. There is no Ask Rambi...Don't Ask.

For us 1998 was the Year of the Helenator. She was born Jan 29. Now she's eleven months old, so tall I can touch her head without bending, and weighs some 25 pounds. She runs like a champ and is getting a real taste for trouble. (She reaches up to this keyboard with an unerring instinct for the Bad News Keys in the lower left corner.) She says "Hi" and is working on a couple of new words I think. 1998 was also the year of the Great Side Lot Anxiety. Boys on bikes came, made a royal pain of themselves, and months later woke up one fine morning to a chain link fence. This Spring will be the jackassid test of the fence.
