Have you considered therapy? You seem to be full of venom (and confused politically).

>>It has taken the south over 100 years to finally see that it is the republican party, the party of closure and shall we say not as receptive to racial inclusion as the democrats, to reflect their values of conservatism exclusion.<<

It is the Republican Party, the party of inclusion by the way, that has recruited and developed the kinds of minority and female candidates that are likely to be attractive to a broad segment of the electorate, and thus "Presidential". The Democrat Party's liberal prescription of cradle to grave dependency on government largesse has been a long run drag on the ability of minorities and women to advance. The viable minority candidates for National office, Colin Powell, JC Watts, Alan Keyes are Republicans. With the possible exception of Diane Feinstein, I don't see any females in the Democratic Party that are likely to develop National constituencies sooner than say Elizabeth Dole, Christie Whitman, Jeanne Kirkpatrick or Linda Chavez.

You should try to see the movie "Tennessee Johnson" which is a film (from the 40s I believe) about the last impeachment proceedings with Lionel Barrymore as the evil house speaker (I forgot who played Johnson). There is quite a lot of subtext in the film about the south and why the south became the "solid (democratic) south" as a sort of separate faction of the democratic party in terms of beliefs. It all goes back to that time. It sounds like you already know this story but for the benefit of others they are playing that movie on AMC this month. Its not a great film btw, but interesting given todays events.
