In case you had not noticed, it is 15M today. +1M in a month. So while everyone predicts AOL's demise, the cockroaches keep spreading.

Maybe my 14 Million figure was wrong. But still.....

That is interesting. I wonder if that is result of all the new PC's bought over the holiday that have AOL preinstalled and the newbies are firing up the 'Net for the first time.

Makes me happy to know that ATHM has worked to get onto Dell and Compaq's right out of the box.

I wouldn't be surprised if AOL has a subscriber base boost every holiday season. If so, I'd like to know their attrition rates over the next six months. I'll bet in the future that AOL's new customer life span will decrease as AOL newbies turn over to service providers that do not cut them off at 56k or have limiting factors in their interface or navigation.
