I wish that Yahoo had something like Motley Fool now has, you can lock out (by clicking grim face) all postings by known idiots or blasphemers, and add the "good guys" to your list (by clicking the smiley face). Yahoo would really do us all a great favor by adopting some personal selective control to its site. Agree it is a good forum and many very good and wise people participate in the discussions; it is a shame a few (put your own spin on what you feel about them) make some of the threads unpleasant at times. Wonder if we petitioned Yahoo via e-mail and made the suggestion they would try and do something positive about it?? Just a thought, anyway.

Jim

Speaking of PR ...

I noticed in the January 1999 issue of Popular Science a little spot on the Panasonic 'ToughBook CF-27' laptop (page 40). It is their ruggedized mobile computer listing at $3,999 to $4,499. Makes me wonder why CYI wasn't in that issue instead of Panasonic. Probably it is because the name Cycomm International is less well known than that of Panasonic, and Popular Science is as much a promotional magazine as it is a review of nifty gadgets.

It sure would've been nice to see CYI mentioned there in connection with their various public safety contracts.
