JDN and El: UH! Excuuuuusssse Me! Let's read these posts IN ORDER ... Hey, ease up a little. We were discussing CPQ as an internet play some months ago based on Internet hardware needs. Also the wisdom of spinning AV off to stock holders Vs holding on to it. Also CPQ being compared to IBM rather then Dell due to DEC acquisition and change in business model. So many subjects have been discussed that we sometimes forget what we have discussed and start discussing the topic all over again. The idea of CPQ being a solid Internet play is old. Well, not as old as El, but old. <g> Your perspective about MMs selling Internets and moving to CPQ as a safe Internet play (due to the current market conditions) was excellent in it's timing. EP people observation was very acute and fit right in with some of our current discussions. I think El does get the First award, and you get the timing award.<g> The good Lord knows I don't want to find the links on this very active thread. NW
