<OT> is there an OT on this thread? I have owned MGB (71) Monthly Guaranteed Breakdown and FIAT (74) Fix it Again Tony and finally ended up with the car they should have been: my 1990 Mazda Miata, with nary an electrical problem (Mrs. Sullivan, we think we have an answer to your problem, we have called a priest.) (smiley face)

Why not? If BMW can make Rovers reliable, they can do anything. I love my Disco.<vbg> Had to take my mother to the hospital Christmas eve at 1:00 a.m., she was in a wreck and bumped her head, wanted to get her a CAT scan, the interstate was a couple of inches deep in slush, driving back at 5:00 a.m. the slush was frozen and there was black ice, Rover handled like a dream. Muscle cars were in ditches to the left and right, though. The light dawned, now I know why muscle cars are a Southern phenomenon, well, Southern California, too.

Mike, Have checked with several stores in Victoria on computer sales. None of them reported gangbuster sales & 1 store said they were well below last year. The imac seems to be the best seller.

Prices really coming down here. Noticed a PB MM849C on sale today at a Radio Shack store for 1309 cdn (845 U.S.). It seemed to be a lot of computer for the money: Cyrix M 11 300, 64mb, 5.2gb, 15 PB monitor, etc.

Does anyone have an opinion on Cyrix vs Intel?

James
