The real humiliation fest will take place in November 2000, when the Republicans face the electorate as the majority party in both the House and the Senate for the last six years, and the only thing they have to show for their efforts (other than the RR-mandated once-a-year effort to ban abortions, of course) is a failed attempt to dislodge President Clinton.

Clinton got caught since he chose to perjure and obstruct investigation in court. If he hadn't been arrogant and just admitted it, not much would have happened. You might try running that excuse by your friendly neighborhood police officer next time you get stopped.

Considering that the Clintons don't have much of a reputation to protect, I don't see why they lie. Everyone knows they're scumbags. Just admit it and move on.
