Hi KIS, help me out here, when I go to dlj direct , I see qzn puts at 195 for january and no lower strike price. I'd have bought the 120's had I known. Is the symbol qzn ? Can I ask what you paid ? Howard

My guess is that Monday starts ugly and ends up less so....Your puts are probably worth what you paid for them or zero....whichever is less...:o( Mike

found 'em, they are zqn as opposed to qzn for the higher priced ones...I really appreciate your posts, KIS, there are no guarantees but for a long while I've figured amzn could crack and perhaps crack big. Its best to think for oneself, but reassurance is nice too. There isin't much point on a limited budget betting on a minor drop, however, people may have forgotten this one went from 140 to 80 in the summer swoon and was only 120 or so when the Ingram deal came out...So I'm going for the long shot ! I bought 4 of the jan 120 puts, hey for 150 bucks, if the thing cracks to 100 this is worth 8 grand (and in American dollars). This is my lottery ticket for a trip to Antarctica ! I also noted you were very bearish on ebay. I think this is more of a crock than the amazon. Still think the net is a lot like home shopping was, my mom bought a few things on a lark, then when the credit card bills came in, she realized she didn't need the stuff that badly. One friend of mine bought a camera from onsale, but I still think people will use the net for shopping as a novelty, and it will wear off. I didn't have the guts to short ebay last week, but if it does not crack on the opening on Monday, I will short 10 or 15 shares, (and buy more jan 195 puts on the amzn). Also have 3 dow diamond feb 85 puts... Good luck to everyone, happy new year, and lets not be fooled. I think many of the posters know whats going on here, we need patience to wait for it to unfold to our benefit... Howard
