AaaHHH! So much depends on ones frame of reference. When you said, " in this day and age" You said a mouthful. But, I am "old as dirt" and the relativity of things spans a fairly wide time frame. Things happen a great deal faster now than they did back when the first TV sets came out. And even before that, when Americs' Cup yachts were made of wood, sails were canvas, and the lines were all hemp or steel cable, It took 5 to 6 years to conceive, design, and build such a vessel.
So, your point is exactly to what I was in reference. Things go faster but they still take time. It used to be right to say that there is only one thing certain in life--"change". Now its "sudden change". How much more of that can go on before we start seeing everything go tangential? Or, is that what we are seeing happen right now?
The faster we go the more of our good values we seem to leave behind because they get in the way.
Happy New Year and God Bless!
