It mirrors the clothing industry. There appears to be a new celeron for every season. No out-of-date, scooter skirts for Intel. Maybe they need to start a fashion designer series naming scheme before they run out of Northwestern US rivers. That could be a way of gracefully backing out of the sub-$1000 market.
