The market does its best to fool the majority. So if the majority
are expecting a selloff in the nets come new year , its not gonna
happen. Very long YHOO and loving it. I too have prematurely sold YHOO
this year and regreted it. I am now long at 111, 114 , 192 and 206 and do not intend to sell. YHOO is AOL without the ISP business. Also
long AMZN, AOL, INKT and EBAY.

It is a simple lesson in speculation that when people get too giddy or overblown in the idea that they are right instead of lucky that the market teaches them a lesson they will never forget. Most of the smartest people I know were beaten buy these Internet stocks. But that is wall st...............of course now all the lucky fools I know are quitting their jobs to be full time traders......even more are giving there entire nest eggs over to their wives because they have done so well in the past 3 years...........

Good luck with this strategy Happy Girl.

>>Seriously though - I know what you mean. Am verrry cautious, track verrrry carefully, so hopefully IF this goes, I MAY be able to get out quickly.<<

Kind of reminds me of a Three Stooges episode (or many Three Stooges episodes) where Moe, Larry and Curly all try to get out the same door at the same time. Bottom line, none of them get through. If you don't need to take the chance and there are no tax consequences for selling now, I don't understand why you would not. You can always buy back if we're wrong.
