Sounds reasonable, I can go along with that. I honestly have trouble with these labels, to me any down trend is a bear market and any up trend is a bull market, although I'm not naive about markets in general. Nonetheless, I may be treating the term too near term, but I always have. I think you may be very right to suggest that I require a lengthy protracted decline before I call it a bear market.
