Yes, I was puzzled today about the strength of KLAC until I happened to pick up on the article. Like you, I have had FSII a long time - I bought in June 1996 and haven't bought or sold since that time. I wanted to get some long term capital gains. I had visions of FSII going "onward and upward" on the growth rate curve it enjoyed from 1991 to 1995 - boy, was I wrong!! I am going to wait awhile longer to see if some money can eventually be made on this stock.

Ed White is estimating 2001 to 2002 for the cyclical peak. The IBD article doesn't talk about a cyclical peak, but it does say that 1999 should be a good year.

To access the IBD article, registration is required, which is free. However, when I went to their home page to check the registration process, they stated they were having problems with their registration process. In the meantime, access can be gained temporarily by using the word CHOOSE for the user name, and SUCCEED for the password. Hope that helps.
