Ken: Yes, you have to install the new beta first. Then you add the data with the old historical CD. It's an all-inclusive variation on the new year's theme: In with the new; in with the old.

And here's wishing you a great New Year.

Brooke

HI Ken,

Be sure and use the Install Data to harddrive utility in QP setup

All,

I loaded the QP2.1 beta today. Went mostly OK with a quick hint from Gary. Then I loaded all my old history from the earlier CD and that went well. I did not attempt to load QPV from the CD.

But, now this doesn't seem to work like it has previously. In the past I could open a profile, drag and drop an existing list into that profile and all files would be made current. That isn't happening now.

Anyone have an idea? I posted over on the e-mail thread, but didn't attract any attention. Hoping this post will solve my problem. I went to www.qp2.com just to be sure I had the latest update, and I do.

Thanks, Ken
