Another recent Business Week reference to Sterling Commerce in form of a review of the book by Bill Burnham "How to Invest in E-Commerce Stocks"

Sounds like an interesting book
A good point about SE is the unusual lack of insider selling. A not so good point is the 95% ownership by institutions. Since the latter display strong lemming tendencies, it will increase the volatility. Retail buying and selling on the internet may not offer much real increase in the total number of trandactions, since many of these transactions would have taken place by other methods, but the fierce price competition on the www insures that merchants must use the most efficient way of dealing with suppliers if they want to survive. This is where Sterling Commerce has it's big opportunity.
