Hi Bruce, the advice I got about a large seller was from someone who was carefully watching level 2 quotes and could therefore see which market maker was offering the stock. He had associated the seller with the market maker.

Judging by todays action, he may have been right. Someone whose judgment I respect was kind enough to share his observations. Asking too many details would not have been appropriate.

I believe the large seller(s) was(were) supposed to be an(some) ex-employee(s) such as Cal Reed exercising options before they (the options) expired. If so, then he(they) is(are) merely taking profits before expiration, and he'd(they'd) hardly need a research staff. If he(they) was(were) selling short, then that's his(their) problem because contrapuntally someone was buying long. Who implied he(they) would care what the board posted?
Does this sound like an S3?
