Read my posts in the last 3-6 months. AOL is one of my core holdings and I still have some shares that I have kept for more than 2 years. Will sell them in Jan.

I do short AOL occasionally to box against my long positions. Did the same with my YHOO! and DELL holdings.

cheers,
larry!

Jorge,

Could you please provide some details on possible AOL deal for broadband connection.

I am a recent long at AoL stock. AOL presently has strongest internet franchise due to its mix of ISP model & content provider model.

What worries me about future......is possible collapse of ISP revenues for AOL. At present, customer pc connection to AoL server is essentially free.

ADSL & Cable based broadband connections will no longer free. Local Telcos & Cable cos (athm & roadrunner) are happy to provide their portal as launching pad to internet.

With no ISP revenues, AOL will be just a portal company. This thought really scares me since my $$'s are in this stock.

Any serious prolification of ADSL & cable broadband connection is not happening until yr. 2000.

Any thoughts will be really appreciated.

Regards,

HB
