I have described the use of AOL as a means of getting on the internet in the same way when compared to ISPs such as MSPG and ELNK. However, I strongly disagree with using "sucks" when referring to the product. It is a rather perfect product for it's target market--the first time user, kids, casual users and those wanting to just have a more appealing look than the ISPs provide. I have both AOL (for the family) and Mindspring (business and speed). I also believe AOL will improve and as it does it will get the more demanding clients as well.
