I will use a baseball analogy, let's call it 'Mark Langston'. In theory, a team offers him the OUTRAGEOUS sum of something like 17 mill for 4 years (10-12 years ago), so he comes to this team, and does NOTHING for 4 years. mostly injured, a losing record. All because somebody thought they needed a LHP. was he worth the 17 mill ? They DID need a LHP..... but he lost more than he won.... was it worth it ? (I already know - this makes NO sense.....).
