Hi, I just looked at Network Associates. Seems wildly overvalued to me BWDIK?

I agree that the more proven companies seem to be better bets. Sometimes historically small caps do better. But micro-caps are too risky for the average investor.

On another note, adding 200 more shares (just a nibble) of CMIV at $5 1/4. Too much cash in the portfolio!

Also adding a newcomer, COGNOS Inc. COGNF. They are into business intelligence software (perhaps a competitor of Hummingbird in some sense). They are the market leader. Also competition from one other major company in this field, a French company. Earnings surprise jolted stock up 30% and it hasn't looked back. Chart-wise that was a bottom so I see it breaking out past its high.
A good idea to add this one in case HUMCF doesn't pan out.

ADD 200 COGNF at $24 1/2.
