Pal, <if people need a FASTER CPU, Intel has plenty of faster ones to sell them.>
Really? Say, people want 2+ MB of L2. Incidentally,
Xeons can go only up to 400MHz - there is NO 450MHz
Xeons with 1024k L2 available! You have a 450 core,
but your memory seems to suck. Maybe Youseless can
explain how it happen that so simple regular arrays
as SRAMs can't yield at 450 even at "best"
fabrication facilities.

BTW, did you eventually learn something here, say,
which end of P-II to plug in, and how to correctly
compare systems performance?

Re: " ..they will put an end to overclocking using the 100 MHz bus"
You said maybe, that will effect about 0.0001 % of their business
I think Intel WILL both clock and bus-lock the Katmai and the eventual lack of an over-clockable celeron will hurt Intel more than they realize. The influence of the PC Gaming sites on the internet is strong and growing rapidly.
