Agreed.
I was surprised tonight when I looked at how wide spread it was.
The only sector that looked attractive to me was chip makers.
TI, xilinx, MOT only down 1/8, LSI Logic etc. all black.
This is probably profit taking spurred by the nuts.
Its the first day to get the profit and move the taxes to next year.
I would guess (and hope) it settles down tomorrow.

I think a return to PE evaluation might set in.
I was very impressed by a post in the last day or so making an analogy the pc's when they started and the internuts. Kaypro, the commadore pet, etc etc were the nuts of the time. I believe they were the darlings then too.
Eventually apple survived. The IBM pc was a dog. Dell came later. Compaq was a late comer too.

I think the same thing is going on now. A couple will survive.

AAPL....look at the chart. Look at the recent news, the management team, the cash on hand (over 2 BILLION dollars) and the other particulars. Even has a large short position.

AAPL....I like AAPL.

Tim, you like AAPL?

Jane:-)
