Amy,

For years I chased the beauty queens with charisma and style and discarded others. In doing so I was burned a number of times and missed a number of very good opportunities. I learned the hard way that things are not always as they appear.

I now more than ever appreciated the basics and simple things in life. I still like an attractive woman, but I am more interested in substance and inner beauty.

I've had a style vs substance argument with my wife for years, and I realize that style is very important. However, in the long run substance is critical. The way I see it our PTEC girl has substance and has been on a self improvement campaign for a number of years. She has been to the plastic surgeon and looks better all the time. The problem is she refuses to go out, because the last time she did she still had scars from the surgery and was ridiculed by the masses. I think Jack Kay knows that he needs to add some charisma to PTEC and I assume he is doing so in his talks with the investment community.

My mother recently passed away, and I appreciate your situation and Jules was right on when he said your post was from your heart. Whatever happens I wish you well.

Happy new year to everyone! By the way, a pretty nice finish for PTEC.
