Jake, An elite cadre of like minded folk? I agree in part, but this exclusion also impoverishes SI in some way. I have noted a slowing in the pace of new people and posts in general. just wondering about the future.

I agree. It means that the posters here are not just drop ins wanting to see their comments in print. It means that we are committed to the subject and are here to share and learn.

IDEA.. perhaps some of the web-based brokerage firms and SI could work out a deal where membership to SI is free or discounted to their investors. That would give SI a new crop of serious investors.
