I was thinking of mentioning the Porta-Potty shortage, which can be real painful if you have spent the wee hours of the morning guzzling coffee to stay warm. I had heard that Pasadena had improved this situation, but I don't know first hand. But I've also heard that the crowd has gotten much rowdier over the years, which wouldn't encourage me into spending another night freezing on the street. Besides, KTLA has great coverage, and you can always go see the floats up close at Victory Park after the Parade is over.
