Good post. Another thing Skeets, most of us that run around these parts have a mixture of longs and shorts, based on our analysis. I think none of us are happily looking forward to a bk and the damage that that will cause.

Skeets, It still doesn't make you a good person. <G> I've seen this a lot at tops in markets. The naive and not-too-bright equate bloated stock prices that enrich a few with God, patriotism and apple pie. If they were really patriotic and up with people, they'd criticize the financial scams that have firms canning real human beings so they can make their next quarter. Or, using sleight of hand on the income statement to sucker in money at high prices from those who don't know any better.

"i received a rather nasty flame saying i was essentially a bad person b/c i was trying to make money on falling stock prices. "

Welcome to the dark side Skeeter. <g>

Happy New Year to you, Skeeter, and to everyone else. My kids want me to take them to the pool, now, so I am signing off. Only 366 days before we find out what Y2K holds!
