Yeah, what a wacky world.

Here is another argument for 3-1: If the goal is to present stockbuyers with a 80ish price, AMZN is now splitting 3-1 now and will have to split in a month or so 2-1 to arrive there.

Maybe YHOO will not be far behind.

3-1 followed shortly by 2-1 is better than one 4-1. Why? because if you start with 100 shares, you wind up with 600 vs 400.

I had written earlier that the authorised shares would enable a 3:1 split.
